Biscayne Day: Notes from the Shallows

The paintings in this exhibit were created in a single day at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center as part of an inaugural Adventure Painting residency co-facilitated by Bridge Initiative and The Guild of Adventure Painters. Working en plein air alongside naturalists, the artists entered the shallow seagrass beds to observe, listen, and respond—brush in hand—to an ecosystem that is both delicate and essential.
Free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on display until March 31, 2026
